Details they won’t stop talking about.

Custom stationery and live calligraphy that turns fleeting moments into unforgettable experiences.

This work is for people who care deeply about the details—couples, planners, and brand teams who want their events to feel intentional, polished, and personal.

I’m Clarissa—calligrapher, creative partner, and detail maximalist. I design wedding invitations, day-of paper goods, and live calligraphy experiences for people who care about how things feel and how they look. Whether you’re a planner with a clear vision or a couple who just knows what they like, I’m here to make your paper goods feel intentional—not templated.

From custom wedding stationery to live engraving and in-studio brand work, everything I offer is rooted in thoughtful presentation and obsessive execution. If it involves pretty paper, tactile design, or a detail that makes people say, “Wait—who did this?”—you’re in the right place.

And if you’re not sure where to start? That’s part of the service.

Design is the feeling—my job is the function.

Wedding Invitations
& Day-of Details

Wedding invitations, envelopes, and day-of paper goods—all under one roof (mine).

I design stationery for weddings that want to stand out without shouting. From save the dates to place cards, I create cohesive, personal suites with just enough edge. Think: envelopes that set the tone, menus guests won’t leave behind, and invitation suites that actually feel like you.

Whether you’re walking in with a full vision or a Pinterest board and a prayer, I’ll guide you through the process—timeline, etiquette, production, and design included.

  • Once we’ve confirmed the scope and signed a contract, we kick things off with a design questionnaire and moodboard. From there, I handle the timeline, etiquette, production, and logistics—so you don’t have to. Most couples book 8–12+ months ahead of their wedding.

  • Yes—with minimums. Envelope addressing is part of my in-studio offerings and perfect for clients who already have printed invitations but want to level up the presentation. (It’s also my favorite first impression.)

  • I’m based in Virginia and regularly work in DC, Charlottesville, and the surrounding areas. I also accept on-site bookings in Pittsburgh and Harrisburg, and can travel nationally for the right project!

  • Paper, glass, leather, wood, acrylic, and a few other wildcards. For on-site events, clients typically supply materials, but I’m happy to test or offer sourcing recommendations if needed.

  • It depends on the project. In-studio work typically requires at least 2–3 weeks' lead time. Rush projects are sometimes possible—with an additional fee and caffeine.

  • Custom invitations start around $2,000. In-studio projects usually begin at $500–750, and on-site work starts at $1,000. I’ll always give a custom quote once I know the scope, timeline, and level of detail involved.
